I had something odd occur yesterday. I recently bought a large lot of old wristwatch hands on eBay from a seller in New Hampshire, I live in Michigan. The watch is a sweeping hand and date model and looks to be either 9 or 18 carrat gold plated (not hallmarked). It has been in a box for over 20 years and the watch starts up when handled but appears to have been overwound at some point.
