I know the odds are small, but before bringing to the jeweler to open, can anybody identify this reference? I would like to sell this. Is there much demand for this vintage? I saw one web site (don't remember which) selling similar vintage for $5,000 (maybe $10,000?) or so. I did bring it to one jeweler who glanced at it and told me there is no demand for this type of Patek Philippe and said he would buy it only as scrap gold. Does this sound correct?
