This may be a stupid question, but is there a point in servicing the Monster's. At used prices of 150 or so......doesn't that kind of make them disposable? Or is it worth having to pay for a service that is sure to be around the same if not more money than just replacing it.
Okay, so I'm considering a Seamaster Chrono Diver and one thing that gives me pause is the Caliber 1165 which is a re-worked Valjoux 7750. It's a bit inelegant, heavy, and I even hear you can feel it wobble on your wrist. That said it is quite the rugged and reliable workhorse and as a result is used extensively by many manufacturers. Not sure how extensively Omega modifies it for their use - some claim less, some claim more, but for some reason it bugs me a little that there are $500.00 watches
