I've had my SD for a couple of days and the accuracy meets COSC specs.but when I wind it there are two different deeper clicking sounds after five winds or so.I'm assuming it's the preventive over winding clutch, but it seems strange that it does that after only a few winds.Hopefully it's just that because of constant wear the spring stays fully wound. Can someone please enlighten me since this is my first Rolex and I'm unexperienced with the behavior of their movts..Thanks in advance!
I am new to the watch hobby ( own 3 LTs ) and admit to my tyro level of expertise. I was given a Tag H CE2118 which had been sitting unused for at least the past 10+ years. It is an automatic with three sub dials (sorry no pix). The estimate to fully restore the unit is 479.00. Despite the limited info, does anyone have an opinion as to either the estimate or watch itself? I was able to find on line two examples of the unit sold at 560 and 350 respectively as is. Really would appreciate comme
