I have been toying with the idea of getting a winder, but one of the problems I have is that a winder won't really fit in my safe. Well, not if I want anything else in there too, such as the other watches that don't fit on it, let along anything else. So, if it won't fit then it needs to be left out. But the problem with that is that it is likely to be the more expensive watches that get on the winder, and then they will be the ones just sitting out all the time.I don't live in a bad part of town
First post here I'm the proud owner of a new AT Cousteau that I've been coveting for a while. (3782-03). I got "surprised" with it over the weekend and thus didn't talk to the AD. In winding it etc...I have what could be the dumb question of the month....is the major second hand supposed to sweep (or even move) for "regular" time or is it only used for chrono functions? I'm guessing the small second hand in the interior dial is the only "second hand" that moves, which seems weird but maybe
