Every time I see a movement and dial on the swamp being sold without its solid gold case, I am a bit sad. This movement and dial is simply NUTS! See: 280623764416While I know gold is high, this near NOS Tiffany dial and Hamilton movement MUST have been in an equally terrific 14K or 18K case.
I have 2 of these Benruses, and they have Seiko Automatic movements in them and both run great......Now the first one I had, I always have a metal band on it......(and the second one, came with the orginal band (marjed Benrus) but was lacking the little piece that holds it to the case.....) So, I thought I'd put a brown leather watch band on this one , and lo and behold, I think I much prefer the leather band....the watch itself has a wide brown band in the dial, so the brown band matches that
