i was wondering should i get a watch winder because i wont be wearing my bc3 to work to save it from damage . so i will probably wear it 3 days a week . the main reason i am considering a winder is because of the screw down crown , i dont want to damage it ?
In my Waltham 6/0 thread I made a reference to the lack of wristwatch cases on Ebay in particular. Do you have any resources for cases especially from the 20s and 30s? I have to believe that Illinois, Fahys, Wadsworth and Star made millions if not 10s of millions per year. Are they all scrapped or just lying around in drawers and parts cabinets. I am guilty of hoarding a few my self that are too nice to through away but I'm not particularly fond of the design. I have read Stan's posts of finding
