I have a Seiko 4336-8019 with the battery hatch in a snapon case back. It appears at the last battery change that the hatch was forced on 180d from where the arrows indicate. Now I can turn it in a 90d range but at no point does it want to pop off. I think this is some kind of bayonet mount and not a screw in.So, I tried using a case knife like this, to try and remove the entire back but apparently I can't find the knack of it either on this 4336-8019, or with a 6F22-7009 moon phase watch wi

When I asked him about it he said it was his fathers but didnt know the year of manufacture He was guessing some time in the 50's???
