I have a Patek Philippe Annual Calender 5036/1R. It's 36 mm rose gold with bracelet. I spoke with the Henri Stern Watch Agency's parts department about swapping my rose gold bracelet with an alligator strap. They said this watch cannot be fitted with an alligator strap, or any leather strap.Does anyone know if this watch can be fitted with a leather strap? I figured I would ask just in case the Henri Stern Watch Agency is answering with the company line, and that I can swap the bracelet (myself)
For those of you in the northwest US (Seattle area) here's a college actually teaching watch repair. One of the guys on the vintage Gruen site just signed up for the course.Norwest School of HorologyFor me this is far more worthwhile than some of the courses (ie Interpreting the Art of Eastern Kazakhstan) offered at colleges today
