I've been considering buying one of the automatic Tag's, like the Aquaracer Automatic Chrono. The manual states it requires particular care, with service ever two years. Is this absolutely necessary? Is this mainly to keep the accuracy up? I would figure one of the main advantages of an mechanical auto watch is no battery changes, but if I have to bring it in for service every two years, whats the point?
