I inherited this watch - it looks to be of good quality and has an 18K gold case. It is approximately 1 3/8-inch in diameter. It doesn't run but I may have it serviced/repaired if it is worth it. Any information at all would be appreciated. Thanks!
Seiko Gurus:I'm thinking about picking up a SKX173 for my trip to Tokyo in about 8 weeks, as well as for general water purposes. I don't know that I'll want the rubber strap full time though. Does Seiko also make a good bracelet for this watch which is of the same quality as the Seiko Monster watches? I think I've seen watches in this family with an Oyster style bracelet which looks like it's not of the greatest quality, which doesn't excite me.
