Unfortunately, it was not a watch. But the next best thing, some reading material...with lots of pics! My father was introduced to fine timepieces by me and although he is not a WIS he does enjoy seeing and hearing about any new watches I get. I just got my omega 1970s chronometer watch from a complete maintence and it just speeds up with 20 seconds per hour!!!!! I know it needs some time to "break-in" and arrive in working condition, but still - 20 second per hour - that's 8 mins a day, for a certified chronometer?! Does it just needs some adjustment or maybe some parts are worn?
