Possibly looking at a Seamaster Pro (black dial) tomorrow. I don't have the model # right now. Are there any models/movements to stay away from. I thought Omega had a problem with some of their movements but can't remember which one. Any and all help is much appreciated, I don't want to spent my hard earned cash on something that is going to give me problems down the road.
Hello All,I have an Omega Seamaster Quartz, Movement 1538 and when I try to tighten the crown down, my watch quits working, usually within a few minutes. If I push the crown down so it's past position 1 and just barely start to tighten it it works fine. It seems to me that somehow the stem may be shorting out the watch when it's screwed in all the way, but it's also strange that it doesn't stop working immediately when the crown is screwed in all the way. Does anyone have any ideas on what th
