I've recently become enamored with German watches - especially the Junkers chronographs - but it seems like these luxury aviators cater primarily to men...and as a woman who loves them, I find this a bit frustrating. My wrist is very small (and I'm pretty petite overall as well, standing just barely over 5ft) so I'm not sure if I can pull off a chunky men's watch. This should probably count toward the July acquisitions/arrivals, but I won't wear it, and am not sure what to do with it. When I bought my Orient with a red/black dial, they were running a 49% off and get a free surprise watch, and this was the free surprise watch. It's not bad, just not a style I will wear. The dial looks enamel-ish, and has a tiny, micro-orange-peel texture that you don't notice unless you are looking closely. From typical look-at-your-watch distance, it looks pretty good.
