Did a weekend test of my Tissot Luxury (their name, not mine) Powermatic 80.I wound it as much as I dared and set it to the time server and let it go on Friday night at 11.On Monday evening, it was still running and it was 1 second off the server. It stopped running at 2pm Tuesday morning. So that means it went 75 hours without winding. One question for you guys, can you over wind a modern watch? And in this case, how can you know when the watch is fully wound? I think I quit winding in fear
Well some of you might have already known I recently acquired a 321. I wore it for a week or so now and it winds like a charm and keeping good time. As most of you who knows about 321, is its classic Lemania 2310 movement and 'possibly' the first watch with this movement which went to the moon are just simply a joy to watch. I opened the case and took a few shots of this infamous calibre 321 (which incidentally also prettied up in Patek 5004/5070 and VC) for your enjoyment. Have a nice weekend.M
