Just had to have it. Something about total addiction that is rather maddening, isn't it?? Yet it is a happy kind of insanity!As you can see it is the full meal deal! Voila!!! A Transformation takes place before you eyes! And then one Coke bezel insert....And then the metamorphosis! 
Tow watches I've fixed in the last week are in need of being put back in beat. One is the Lord Elgin Cranbrook, with a 680 movement. I put it back together, and unlike dang near every other watch I've worked on it did NOT start right up when the balance went back in. I had to give it a spin, and then it ran. When I timed it, instead of the 'ticks' every 0.2 seconds, the 'tick' is shorter than the 'tock', but they average out to 0.2 seconds, so the overall rate is pretty close. BUT it's not
