My wife saw this this watch in several adds prior to Christmas. It looks very impressive in the adds and was a must have on her Christmas list. The Watch list for $250 but I was able to manage about $300 less that that though a [WEB] reseller. She liked the heart shape cut out and the mother-of-pearl face looked great. The diamonds around the face really made it stand out. My only complaint is that the diamonds that are placed on each hour are so that it makes it look a bit cheesy or cheap. I think it would look a lot better if they had left the diamonds off the face. It's a nice watch and for the sale price I am very happy.

adjusting the speed of my watch

I recently inherited a Hamilton pocket watch. Best I can tell it's a 1950 model 992B 21jewel grade 974it seems to be gaining about 1min a day. I just found out I'm not been using the clutch lever when moving the hands when I set it, I hope that's not damaging to the watch.removing the rear bezel I see the speed adjustment screw, but I'm hesitant to adjust it as I don't know a lot about this watch.thoughts?
