Tired of all the usual Benrus this and Elgin that? Here's a unique little Waltham to liven things up.I've never seen a hooded lug case design where the strap attached to the back. Makes a smart looking home for a 1936 grade 887 movement.Don't always believe the inscription date. 1916? Might be a birth date. Was it popular to celebrate 20th birthdays in the 30s?Case not marked Waltham but it amost has to be original to this movement.Need to find the right strap to fit and commplement this style.J
As I was doing a little traveling this past weekend, I stopped by my AD and hada chance to see one of the most beautiful Pateks. They just received 5102 in yellow gold.It is virtually impossible to appreciate its beauty just from pictures.Unfortunately, I left my camera in the car, but 'what a watch' !
