Hi!Been lurking for a few weeks while my dads old watch went for repair. It's been fixed and cleaned and is running beautifully!Question is, can any of you Longines experts help me identify it?It's from 1948(?) S/N 7535098. 12.68N movement.(17 jewels). 9 carat Gold. Pictures attached should help. Thing is, I have failed to find any other Longines watch with this face and hands. Sure, I've seen the red XII before, but not like this?I will be putting it on the market once I know more about it.Than
Here's a couple of picks of an old waltham pocket watch a freind gave me, He knows I love watches, But I'm not familiar with pocket watches and can't really find out much about it. Any help would be great...Age of production and so forth. :) thanks everyone! The back case also has a locomotive on it, My real question is would it be worth restoring? At the moment I think the mainspring is toast, it just winds and winds :(
