My girlfriends wrist watch has some dust on the inside of the glass. I removed the back and blasted it with a can of air used to clean computer components, like graphics cards etc. It did not remove all of the dust and I think I need to remove the Crown and Stem (I call winder, although it doesn't wind, lol) to get all the dust and small particles out. Can anyone please give me details on how to remove the Crown and Stem and take out the mechanism to clean the watch, and how to put it back in.He
I'm preparing for my next Hamilton purchase with a purge of some seldom worn watches. I think my first step will be in line with Rusty, pelikan3, Wally and Ventura57..Seems like being the 50th anniversary is a good reason to buy a "wedgie". Rusty PM me on any help on price here...Anyone else planning a Hamilton purchase?
