Greetings all! I'm happy to have found this forum. I just found my great grandmother's watch while cleaning out my mother's attic. I'm not overly concerned about value because sentimental value is most important to me. But I'm a curious type and would like to learn more about the watch. I have found some information online, but not a lot.I found the serial number and entered it into an online "Longines Year Identifier". It identified the watch as being from around 1905. That makes sense because 
would should I look to pay for a seamaster 2254.5 with all boxes, paper work, and serviced a few years ago? i guess its been discontinued so will it just keep going up in price? Can't seem to find it on sale new on the net so I'm assuming pre-owned would be the way to go. Saw two on ebay and wanted to know what you guys thought would be a fair price on a good condition watch with all the paper work including original sales receipt...thanks.
