My father worked for the Quaker Oats company in Chicago. During WWII he was liaison with the Army, helping to develop freeze-dried food for the troops. He was given this Benrus by the Army in appreciation of his work. The emblem on the front says "The Quartermaster Citation". The back has serial #666929.
