Hi, I have just pulled the crown out of my watch to adjust the time and the crown and attached stem came out of the watch. I assume a stem must be secured into the watch somehow but I have no idea how. I pushed it back in and it feels quite secure but would prefer to explore how to fix it properly.I would appreciate ideas please unless it is a job for a watchmaker. Thanks
I did see a used 1960s Oyster Perpetual, Ref 1024. caliber 1570 for sale in Norway.The seller says this is a gold plated watch. Does Rolex make gold plated watches?Also the seller says the ref 1024 with cal 1570 is a very rare Rolex. I got a hard time believing this.
