just got a call from my AD. The two models I was looking at have gone up.DeepSea to $9250 and Daytona to 9975. Holy cowpie!!!Only a $275 diff on the deep sea but $775 on the Daytona!!!. Not sure I really want to pay $9900 incl tax now for a deepsea to replace the one I sold because the mrs. was giving me grief. Just can't justify it being an over 9k watch now almost 10k with tax. For sure will have to pass on a Daytona now as well.
I understand why you'd pull the crown out on a quartz watch when you're not wearing it, but what's the purpose of doing it on an automatic? Please enlighten me.
