May I ask you what's your opinion on the new models from Seiko showed here? I honestly expected something betterThe new manual winding caliber is nice but it is not impressive, only some 50h reserve and nothing really new. The minute repeater is ugly as hell. Premier, Sportura etc seem to be either very similar to what existed or worst. For example, what's the point of a new premier with part of the movement exposed, 40h reserve and 2Hz movement when the previous auto offer was so much better? R

First he showed me a rectangular 18K yg manual wind engine-turned dial Omega from the late 70's, then a great 18K rg (20 pennyweights of gold in the case! - that's almost $700 at scrap value even after the $50 drop per ounce in the last day) Bucherer chronograph with a Frederic Piguet mecaquartz hybrid movement. Okay, he's got me really interested with both of these, but there not quite jumping
