My recently acquired re-issue of the Yankees Piping Rock. Not mint, but still in nice shape. I had been wanting one since I first saw it in a Honolulu jewelry store in 1994. If I was an MLB player I think I would take a World Series watch over a ring any day!
I picked up an adjustment tool when I bought my first watch (Kinda got addicted, and ended up buying one for my friend, and another for myself...) But anyways, I got the tool, simple enough to figure out how to use it. But it has this feature which I'm unable to figure out. It's got a screw that you can turn and it will move a platform back and forth that's on springs.Any info on what this is for? I could only think it's for adjusting where the band is on the tool, but why not just move the band
