Hey everyone, I was trying t calculate the production date of my Seiko Orange Monster using this complex tutorial that made no sense lol. So i did a search for a date production date calculator and though you gents might enjoy it. So there's the link http://uaf13892.ddns.uark.edu/jgauch/photos/seiko.html I'm assuming that this thing is accurate However it took me slightly by surprise when it said that my OM was built in January of the year 2000 ten. That's nearly ten years old, looks like I was
I now have a watch winder and put an old seiko kinetic in there. After a day, nothing had happened, it wasn't ticking. Are winders not supposed to be used to wind watches that havs stopped? Do then need a "jump start"?I would also like to say that this watch does have problems keeping it's energy up. If I wear it, after about two weeks it stops. In the shop they say that the "generator" is fine, but that it needs to be cleaned, but still, I thought it would start with the winder...
