What would you all consider the closest present day equivalent to the model 1016 Explorer? What models existed in between? (and dates of production, if you know)?Vintage Rolex Sports Models does a nice job of laying out a chronology through the late 1980s. But I'd be interested in what's happened more recently w/ that Explorer I lineage, through 2008.Well, except for the price increases part! Thanks!
Does anyone here wear damaged watches? For example, my watch so how got water inside it when I was jet skiing at a local lake...watch had water resistant of 330ft, deepest I went in the water was 4ft. Got the watch fixed and now all my luminous dial is bubbled and basically eaten off of the dial because of the water. Watch works great but no more luminous dial. :(
