I went a bit overboard on my latest project. I have been working on this one for three months now and it is all about to come together. I had it all together several months ago and decided that I did not like it so I started making changes. One thing led to another and then it was taken apart down to the bone. It was a size 0s 14k gold filled cushion case with a 15 jewel Elgin movement from 1911. I did not like the finish on the gold filled case after polishing so I sent it out to be completely 
So I bought a ML Open Heart Masterpiece from a well known member here and with the watch came a brand-spanking new strap. Of course the strap is a bit too small, I was given the receipt so it should not be a problem getting it exchanged, right? Wrong, when I contacted ML parts she did not want to hear anything from me, I was not the original purchaser. "Get the original owner to contact us" she replied. Not a problem, he is a great guy.
