Hi-I just purchased a pre-owned 5039-R from a dealer in Germany. The side portion of the case (the part where the stem is, all around the watch with the exception of the portions where the band attaches) are brushed rose gold. The portions where the strap attaches are not brushed, leading me to believe the watch originally came with buffed, not brushed gold, and it has been brushed to remove/hide scratches. Anyone know of an auto chrono with the "normal" second hand in the central position? One of the things that is attractive to me about autos is the sweep second hand, which is kind of hard to see when it is a subdial. I suppose you could leave the chrono running all the time, but somehow that doesn't seem like a good solution.
