To start, here's the watch we're talking about.It arrived in non-running condition but I do intend to keep it. It's not a rare or valuable vintage so I'd like to use it as a learning experience. I have managed to pop the crystal/bezel and run into my first issue. The crown stem goes through a hole in the case and the movement won't come out. How do you separate the crown from the movement to remove it from the case?Once it's out, I'll post photos of the movement and take further suggestions.
Is it possible I'm wearing it too much? I don't take off my watch unless the strap is going to get wet. My other watches don't get any wrist time anymore. I'm planning on putting the rubber strap on my Base and wearing it all summer. Am I crazy or is this normal paneristi behaviour? Does anyone actually swim with these dive watches or are they just for show? This is my most expensive watch but I don't want to keep it in a safe and of course I don't want to damage it. Any feedback would be great!
