New to the forum..and about to purchase my first "good" watch, likely an IWC Pilot.Looking for recommendations for AD's, and any feedback folks may have about "trustworthy" "grey market" dealers. Been searching the forum...see that recommendations tend to be PM'd behind the scenes...so, had to ask the question again. (Thanks to those of you who I sent PM's to asking for recommendations. Very helpful. Just want to look at some of the other options.)
Does anyone know what the story behind he relationship between IWC and Jaeger is? A lot of the horological literature I read references IWC and JLC as sister companies, but it never goes into detail as to the nature of the relationship. Does anyone know anything about this so called sisterhood? Or is it as plain and boring as both being owned by the notorious richemont group? Best regards-jdp87
