Hello!A little introduction from my side. Have been following the forums for some time now. Have been interested in watches since a few years and with my new job I'm stepping up the hobby a bit more. I'm interested in 1900-1950 American wristwatches. I'm now owner of a few Waltham's and a Elgin. All 7jewels. Bought my first 17jewel Waltham a week ago with the serial number; B13978. I've never had a Waltham with a letter in front of the serial. Can somebody explain my how to "read" these serials
Here's one I just couldn't pass, even though rough and not running.I saw it on a table amongst a big pile of watches; don't really know why it caught my eye. The inscription is just too cool, a real piece of history IMO. What model is it?
