Just managed to snag this one from the 'Bay. My understanding is that Longines didn't certify a whole lot of movements during the early 1970's. The serial number places this model in 1972.The movement is a cal. 6651, which is a derivative of the Ultra Chron 36K beat movements. This one beats a little slower at 28.8K. Some have speculated that chronometer version should have a gold trimmed rotor. This would be true for the cal. 431, but I'm not sure about these later versions.The watch head
