Got my second Rolex today. For those that remember, I wear a Sea Dweller. So instead of getting another sport watch I decided to diversify as best I could and get something very different. Instead of Oyster, I went jubilee. My SD has no cyclops, so I got cyclops. My SD has a smooth bezel (obviously), so I got WG fluted bezel. Anyways, I decided a long time ago that the one I loved was a Datejust with either a light or dark blue dial, and roman dial. I hunted and waited patiently every day until
I finally got a few hours to spend attempting to reassemble Grandpa's Hamilton Lester. When I was disassembling it I somehow managed to bend the second hand pinion on the fourth wheel (I think those are the correct terms.) I probably set the movement down on the bench, forgetting about the pinion sticking out.I tried straightening it then, and thought I did a pretty good job. But when I tried to put the bridge back on today, it was clear it wasn't right. I tried adjusting again and *snap*!
