I picked up this 1954 Elgin Windsor a couple of days ago. Cosmetically, it is in nice shape after just a quick cleaning, but I noticed the hour and minute hands didn��t line up properly. When I went to set the time, the hour hand would skip from 6 to 7. Turned out some teeth were stripped, but luckily I had a replacement gear from a spare movement.The movement is the Elgin branded 645 Swiss movement. It has 17 jewels. The case is 6808 and is 10k gold filled. It came with a really nice Hadle
