Hi there after moving recently I was unpacking a box and ran across a watch that was handed down to me from one of my Great-Grandfathers (I believe). I has a white face with roman numbers on it and a silver case with a brass inlay of a train on the back. I will try to get some pics ASAP. Thanks!!
I was asked a question regarding a 1950's Hamilton-Illinois watch being offered for sale on that auction site:Does anyone know if Hamilton actually made watches with the crown on the left (other than cal. 11/12 chronographs)? Are these considered rare?If this was an aftermarket modification, how was it done? Thanks much, gatorcpa
