I've come to the conclusion that 40mm is my maximum unless it's a dive watch. Of course one of my most recent purchases is an Oris TT3 that measures in at 43.5mm. It is from wearing this watch that I have come to this conclusion. Maybe it's just the fact that it has a fairly large crown, but I don't think so - I think I'm pretty much going to stick to 40mm or less. It's an expensive lesson, but I'm glad I'm learning it now instead of several watches down the road - my other Oris, a Classic D
