Hi All,When winding your cal 1120 watch, do you notice any sounds at all?When I first purchased my 2254.50 over a year ago, the winding was buttery smooth and the movement didn't make any noise. 6 months later, when manually winding the watch I could hear a slightly raspy grinding sound, which I'm accustomed to on all other automatics I've had the experience of winding. Now, there is this noticeably louder clicking sound when I wind the watch. It only occurs once with each time I twist the crown
I'm not certain I have an answer for this.I like the micro-machinery, but I don't work on them - like I used to do with my cars & bikes. And I'm not convinced I see any given watch as an extension of my personality.So frankly, I'm baffled by my love for watches.
