I've been searching for a Storm King V for quite some time now. I scour eBay multiple times per day, as well as routinely checking various antique/watch dealers websites. On a lark, I searched Etsy for "Hamilton Watch". And was horrified. If you haven't seen what those people do to watches, don't look. The worst part is knowing that the watch I'm obsessed with was likely destroyed to make a brooch or cufflinks.
Does anyone know how many watches Patek has made per year from the beginning? I'm particularly interested in the 1880's. Is the watch number an accurate guide to how many watches were produced before it?
