Hello all, I picked up my first vintage Hamilton and I was hoping to find some information about the case, particularly the lug bars. I've seen a lot of Thin-o-matics with regular lugs but not many with these bars. Is this an unusual casing? Is there a proper name for these bars (I want to say I've seen them referenced as "T bars" in the past, but I could be wrong)? The bars are slightly twisted so I'm guessing this particular watch might not carry a lot of value. I didn't pay much for it though
I'm preparing to make my first serious watch purchase and I have decided to go with IWC. I went to my local IWC distributor and tried on the XVI and really liked it. I really like the size and simplicity of the watch. I'm also considering the pilot chronograph, but I haven't seen one in person (watch shop didn't have one). I guess what worries me is that the chrono might be too big. Does anyone have a photo for size comparisons between the XVI and the chrono?I'm also just looking for general opi
