Just got it today...picked it up on Chronoshark a week back. I've wanting a skeleton and I liked the less formal and more funky look of this one. It's a little big put not uncomfortable or anything. My 3.5 year old son loves seeing the internal workings and I have to admit I do too. I'm thinking of getting another band for it though as this one is not that great looking...any suggestions?On to the photos:
I got my start in watch collecting with a simple search for a replacement case for a pocket watch. In 1972 I was living in Gallup NM which was founded in 1881 by the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad which later became the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe. Not surprisingly I found a RR pocket watch in a jewelers store on the main street, Route 66. It was a trade-in by a railroad employee on a new Accutron and was for sale for $25. Deal (engraved name included). It had a base metal case with a worn out
